About

I’m Vlada, a Paris-based graphic designer and art director.

What I did

My journey into design was unconventional but highly intriguing. I studied philosophy of art and aesthetics at the University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy (Kyiv) and at the École des Arts de la Sorbonne (Paris). Philosophy taught me to see the world from a different perspective, slow down a bit, ask important questions, observe more and speak less - quite the opposite of what you'll find in my "About" section : )

What I do

I'm currently enrolled in the marketing and communication master’s program “Cultural Intelligence and Innovation” at Université Paris Cité. I am also an art director assistant apprentice at the communication agency EPOKA. Through my master’s program, I have developed skills in strategic planning, social media management, influence marketing, etc. This polyvalent set of knowledge gives me a comprehensive understanding of the strategic process. And, needless to say, I have discovered a passion for design. I have had the chance to collaborate with a diverse range of clients, including prominent brands, startups, government organizations, as well as local and international entities. My work with the identity team has boosted my skills in creating logos, visual identities, layouts, and animation.

What I want to do

My experience has confirmed my desire to become an art director. I feel like I'm exactly where I need to be and am eager to further develop my skills in identity creation and animation. I'm excited to try something new and experiment; this field is so vast that I genuinely see each brief as an opportunity to explore something new, from unconventional fonts to 3D illustation.
